Intro to Into the Wild

This story Into the Wild is about a young man who we know as "McCandless," which was his last name. It started off at present time when police officers found the dead body of McCandless inside an abandoned Alaskan bus. As the story progresses, we find out that this young man decided to leave his family and travel across the country on a mission to make it to Alaska without communications with his parents, food, money, nothing at all. He made it to Alaska and stayed for about 119 days, living off of berries and edible roots, and he kept a journal of what was going on in his life. Most people think that he died because of a food that he ate which lead to his death. Others think that he had Rhizoctonia leguminicola, which was problem in livestock and digestion.
