Edgar Allan Poe lived in Baltimore, Maryland for most of his life. He was a lonely man, and he spent most of his time writing scary stories mostly about death. He was very odd. He married his 13 year old first-cousin at when he was in his 30. He died at the age of 40 in Baltimore.
